Privacy Policy

Fleet Automations ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FleetGuardian Chrome extension and related services at fleetautomations.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What FleetGuardian Does

FleetGuardian is a Chrome extension that helps Turo hosts monitor their earnings for silent clawbacks, fee reversals, and suspicious adjustments. It also provides automated calendar pricing. The extension operates by reading data from pages on turo.com that you are already logged into.

2. Data We Collect

Turo Transaction Data. When you use FleetGuardian, the extension reads your Turo earnings, trip receipts, reservation details, and guest conversations from turo.com pages while you are logged in. This data is used to detect anomalies and generate alerts.

Data Stored Locally. Transaction snapshots, alert history, pricing settings, and scan history are stored in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us except as described below.

Data Sent to Our Server. When a scan runs, FleetGuardian sends your transaction data to our Cloudflare Worker API for analysis (anomaly detection, categorization, and pricing calculations). The server processes this data in real time and returns results. We store scan metadata (timestamp, vehicle count, date count, success/failure status) in a server-side database for reliability monitoring. We do not store your raw transaction data, guest messages, or personal financial details on our servers.

Email Address. If you create a FleetGuardian account or activate a Pro license, we collect your email address for account management, license verification, and onboarding communications. Emails are sent via Resend.com.

No Tracking or Analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts in the extension or on this website. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Data

4. Authentication

FleetGuardian uses your existing Turo session to access your data. We never ask for, store, or transmit your Turo username or password. The extension reads data using your active browser session cookies, which remain in your browser and are never sent to our servers.

5. Background Activity

FleetGuardian runs periodic scans in the background (approximately every 4 hours) to check for new transactions and price new calendar dates. When no Turo tab is open, the extension may briefly open a background tab to turo.com, perform the scan, and close it automatically. This background activity only occurs while your browser is running and you are logged into Turo.

6. Permissions Explained

7. Data Retention

Local extension data persists until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data. Server-side scan metadata is retained indefinitely for reliability monitoring. If you delete your account, we will delete your email address and associated license data within 30 days.

8. Third-Party Services

9. Your Rights

You can view all data FleetGuardian has stored locally by opening Chrome DevTools and inspecting extension storage. You can delete all local data by uninstalling the extension. To request deletion of server-side data or your account, email [email protected].

10. Children's Privacy

FleetGuardian is designed for Turo hosts, who must be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-extension notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
